Sustainability reporting is now the law. Optima makes it accurate, defensible and seamless — while optimising your entire business at the same time.
Optima is the trusted data hub at the centre of your billing and sustainability ecosystem. We work seamlessly with anyone upstream or downstream: your software platforms, auditors, consultants and reporting partners.
Plug us into your existing ecosystem, or let us introduce you to the right partners within ours. Your data flows in once and flows out trusted, validated and ready to act on: wherever it needs to go.
Spend-data dashboards look convincing. But under ASIC scrutiny, beautiful reports built on poor data won't protect your directors. The difference between thinking you're compliant and actually being compliant is the quality of your underlying data.
"Beautiful dashboards built on bad data won't save you from ASIC."
"False or misleading climate statements (greenwashing) could result in penalties up to $15m or 10% of annual turnover, with directors personally liable."

Replace messy spreadsheets and fragmented data with a single, trusted source of truth that streamlines billing, reporting and your teams.

Six stages, end-to-end. Every bill. Every emission. Every time.

Most platforms use financial spend data because it's convenient to collect — but it won't withstand regulatory scrutiny. Spend data fluctuates with inflation and changing market costs, distorting your footprint. Optima anchors everything in validated, actual volumetric data, so your carbon footprint reflects your real physical consumption — a stable dataset that holds up under audit.
So you can lead with confidence.
Governance, transparency and compliance are non-negotiable at board level. Optima delivers data accuracy that supports strategic oversight and ensures you're always disclosure-ready.
Sustainability is no longer optional — it's a strategic lever. Optima helps CEOs quantify the cost of achieving emissions targets and embed sustainability into commercial planning.
Sustainability is now a finance responsibility. Optima aligns financial and sustainability reporting — delivering accurate data, AP efficiency and full audit readiness.
Procurement teams need more than supplier data — they need actionable insights. Optima helps you optimise energy procurement, manage risk and validate billing across suppliers.
Optima takes the complexity out of emissions tracking and sustainability reporting. From Scope 1, 2 and 3 visibility to assured data aligned with global frameworks — you're covered.
From contract validation to emissions tracking, Optima gives energy managers full visibility and control across usage, spend and performance — at site level and enterprise level.

Through the Optima × Bureau Veritas solution, organisations gain independent assurance of their sustainability data — ensuring accuracy, reliable reporting and complete confidence in sustainability disclosures.
Bureau Veritas, founded in 1828, is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification. Their rigorous assurance process gives your stakeholders the ultimate confidence in your "reasonable and supportable" information — exactly what ASIC requires.
"Discover how our combined Collect, Validate and Assure model can transform your sustainability reporting — giving you data that's defensible, decision-useful, and disclosure-ready."
These are real errors we've caught and recovered for clients. Every bill validated, every line checked.
AASB S2 is Australia's mandatory climate-related financial disclosure standard. Group 1 entities (revenue $500m+, assets $1b+, or 500+ employees) must report from 1 January 2025. Group 2 entities must report from 1 July 2026. Group 3 from 1 July 2027. NGER reporters have separate obligations. If you're unsure which group applies to you, talk to us.
The transitional relief that allowed companies to defer Scope 3 reporting is a runway, not an exit. Group 2 companies reporting from July 2026 have a shorter runway than Group 1 did: and the expectation is that you use it to build the measurement capability you will need. Group 2 companies that start now will be in a materially better position than those who wait.
Spend-based emissions use your financial expenditure as a proxy, applying industry-average emission factors to dollar amounts. Actual data uses real consumption figures from bills, meters and suppliers. Regulators, auditors and the evolving GHG Protocol are moving away from spend-based proxies toward decision-grade actual data. Optima captures actual data.
ASIC can impose penalties of up to $15 million or 10% of annual turnover for sustainability disclosures that mislead, with directors personally liable. Beautiful dashboards built on bad data will not save you from ASIC.
Yes. Optima's outputs are pre-validated by Bureau Veritas, one of the world's leading independent assurance providers. This means your sustainability disclosures arrive audit-ready: defensible, traceable and decision-useful from day one.
The biggest risk is relying on data that won't withstand scrutiny. Spend-based estimates and spot-checked figures can leave directors personally exposed under ASIC greenwashing rules, with penalties up to $15m or 10% of annual turnover. Optima gives organisations with real obligations decision-grade, assured data — defensible under audit.
Whether you're a Group 1 entity refining your second report or a Group 2 organisation preparing for your first — we can help bridge the gap between ambition and evidence.
