Why did you join Optima?

I joined Optima as I was genuinely excited at the quality of data they could deliver for customers. Having been involved with a number of other platforms, the ability to deliver accurate data on a global basis was a massive attraction.

What excites you most about Optima’s future?

There is a shared ambition to help deliver our ambitions with teams across the world focused on achieving the same objectives. I am confident that our development plans, our recent customer facing staff and our strong customer focus will allow us to achieve our objectives.

What do you like most about working at Optima?

Every company is defined by its people and we have a large number of great team members, who want to help the customers, but also want to help each other. No journey like we are on, will ever run smoothly, but I am confident we have the team to get there.

Why did you join Optima?

I loved the technology and that we did things differently in a market that was quite stale. Our disruption has helped accelerate the category to make significant changes.

To be part of an exciting, growing company with technology that can help businesses reduce their impact on our planet.

It always comes back to the people – we have great people who all want the same thing.

Why did you join Optima?

I joined Optima as it is an ASX-listed global utility bill management company.  I wanted to be a part of Optima, where I could continue to contribute and enhance my career in a fast-paced, forward-thinking company. I took this as an opportunity to further expand my skills and knowledge of the energy industry. I believed that my experience and can-do attitude would not only add value to Optima but would also inspire and motivate me to contribute to the collaborative work culture.

What excites you the most about Optima’s future?

Optima’s new growth strategy focuses on net zero reporting accuracy and automation. It also offers key global clients with an affordable SaaS end-to-end technology platform for tracking, verifying, and conducting robust sustainability reporting. I’m honoured to be a part of Optima’s forward-thinking team, which has incorporated sustainability into the core of its business.

What do you like most about working at Optima?

Optima’s collaborative work culture motivates me to work hard and perform well in a positive and innovative work environment. Each day is an adventure and brings an unique set of challenges due to the diversity and complexity of my work. I enjoy being a part of this collaborative team where we make things happen by continuous improvement and everyone strives to achieve business goals.

Why did you join Optima?

I joined Optima as I’ve always been interested in SaaS businesses.

As the requirement of businesses for accurate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) source data is rapidly increasing, the environment in which Optima operates is fast-growing and ever-evolving which keeps the businesses in an interesting space.

My role is a mix of FP&A and commercial finance which allows me to work on both the reporting and commercial side of the business which gives me a lot of variety in the work that I do.

What excites you the most about Optima’s future?

One of Optima’s over-arching goals is to help more businesses accelerate toward Net-Zero. I find it incredibly exciting to be part of a business that is a pioneer in the ESG reporting space. I’m looking forward to seeing how our clients use this data in order to better understand how they can reduce their impact on the Earth which will hopefully see benefits for generations to come.

We have a fantastic team and great leadership steering the business into a new era of Net Zero reporting. As the conversation around ESG becomes more prevalent each day, there are always opportunities to learn and grow as the business evolves which keeps things exciting.
